WEEKLY RECOMMENDATION
Room 4 (Ground Floor): CO₂ peaked at 1,240 ppm between 14:00–16:30 during full occupancy. Recommended action: increase ventilation during afternoon sessions. Estimated impact: reduce average CO₂ by 200–300 ppm during peak hours.
Clarity for every building decision
Indoor Air Quality & Health
Track CO₂, humidity and temperature continuously to identify poor ventilation, condensation risk and conditions that affect occupant health and productivity.
Energy & HVAC Optimisation
Compare occupancy and environmental patterns to refine heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting schedules and reduce avoidable energy waste.
Mould and Moisture Risk
Identify sustained high humidity before it becomes a mould problem, a tenant complaint or a costly remediation. Benchmarked against CIBSE guidelines.
Weekly Automated Insight Reports
Receive a professionally formatted PDF report each week with prioritised findings, risk ratings and specific recommended actions your team can act on immediately.
Deploy → Monitor → Optimise
01 · Deploy
We visit your site, assess priority areas and install ESP32-C6 sensor nodes with the modular sensors suited to each space. Most installations complete in under an hour with no disruption to occupants.
02 · Monitor
Sensor nodes transmit readings every 15 seconds to a dedicated Orange Pi Zero 2W hub on your network. Data is stored locally — your building data never leaves your site without your permission.
03 · Optimise
Weekly PDF insight reports highlight risks, benchmark performance against CIBSE standards and provide specific recommended actions ranked by urgency. You get clarity, not just data.
Sensors & What We Measure
A modular system means each location gets the measurements it needs — without paying for unnecessary hardware.
CO₂ — Air Quality
SCD40
Monitor carbon dioxide levels to identify poor ventilation, overcrowding and conditions that reduce cognitive performance. Above 1,000 ppm CO₂ causes measurable drops in concentration and decision-making. Benchmarked against WELL and CIBSE ventilation standards.
Temperature & Humidity
DHT22
Track heat and moisture trends to identify condensation risk, overheating, poor ventilation and conditions that contribute to mould growth and structural damage.
Motion and Occupancy
AM312 PIR
Understand real occupancy patterns in each space so heating, ventilation and lighting schedules can respond to how the building is actually used rather than assumed timetables.
Light Level
TSL2591
Measure ambient light to identify unnecessary lighting use during occupied and unoccupied periods and find opportunities for smarter scheduling and energy reduction.
Vibration
SW-420
Detect unusual movement from plant, doors, cabinets or equipment and flag changes that may warrant inspection or indicate mechanical issues.
Sound and Noise
KY-037
Monitor relative noise levels and recurring peaks without recording conversations or storing audio. Useful for identifying unusual activity patterns.
Additional sensors can be specified based on site survey findings. All sensor combinations are discussed and agreed before installation.
Simple hardware. Scoped to your site.
Base Kit Node
from £49
One-time hardware cost per ESP32-C6 sensor node, locally hosted on an Orange Pi Zero 2W hub. No cloud subscription required.
Sensor Add-ons
from £12
Per modular sensor, selected based on the risks and opportunities identified at your site during the initial survey.
Final pricing depends on site size, number of nodes, sensor specification and installation complexity. All pricing confirmed before any work begins.

What we collect
Environmental telemetry from installed sensors — CO₂, temperature, humidity, light, motion and vibration readings — plus the contact details needed to arrange your deployment and deliver reports.
What we do not collect
No cameras, no audio recording, no conversations and no intrusive personal surveillance. EnviroSense monitors buildings and environments, not individuals.
Security
All data is stored locally on hardware at your site. Transmission between sensor nodes and the local hub uses your existing secure network. You retain full ownership and control of your data at all times.
Property Operations FAQ
How long does installation take?
Most single-room or small building deployments are installed and live within one hour. Larger or multi-zone sites are planned in phases to minimise disruption to occupants and operations.
What connectivity does the system use?
ESP32-C6 sensor nodes connect to your existing WiFi network and transmit to a local Orange Pi Zero 2W hub. No specialist cabling or infrastructure is required. We confirm connectivity suitability during the initial site survey.
What is included in a 30-day pilot?
A pilot includes an initial site survey, sensor node installation, 30 days of continuous monitoring, weekly PDF insight reports and a final review meeting with findings and recommended next steps. No long-term commitment required.
How are insight reports delivered?
Weekly PDF reports are emailed directly to you. Each report includes an executive summary, colour-coded risk findings, detailed statistics benchmarked against CIBSE guidelines and specific recommended actions ranked by urgency.
Does the system monitor people?
No. EnviroSense monitors environmental conditions — air quality, temperature, humidity, light and motion patterns. We do not use cameras, record audio or provide any form of personal surveillance.
Why is CO₂ monitoring important?
CO₂ above 1,000 ppm is associated with reduced cognitive performance and poor ventilation. Above 1,500 ppm it can cause headaches and fatigue. Continuous CO₂ monitoring is increasingly expected in offices, schools and commercial buildings under WELL and CIBSE guidance.
Can sensors be added after initial installation?
Yes. The system is fully modular. Additional sensor types can be added to existing nodes or new nodes can be deployed in additional spaces at any time.
